Your contributions are greatly appreciated and will help us highlight the accomplishments within our professional community.

Texas A&M University Invites Nominations and Applications for Two Tenured Or Tenure-Track Positions, posted on 9/27/2024

The Department of Public Service and Administration (PSAA) in The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites nominations and applications for two tenured or tenure-track positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level that are open with respect to subfield, starting in August 2025. Successful candidates are expected to lead a robust research program, contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage in university and professional service. Strong research and teaching across public management subfields are valued, particularly in core public administration courses like budgeting, management, collaboration, leadership, ethics, and program evaluation.

University Of South Carolina Seeks Applications For A Tenure-Track Position Assistant Professor, posted on 9/6/2024

 

The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a nine month, full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2025. The position requires a Ph.D. in political science, public administration, or closely related field by the start date of appointment and expertise in any relevant area of specialization. The successful candidate will teach substantive courses in public administration or public policy, especially in our Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program.

Rutgers Seeks Candidates For Three Tenure-Track Positions, posted on 9/20/2024

The School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at the Newark Campus of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, seeks candidates for three positions to begin in the Fall of 2025: (1) A tenure-track assistant professor position, specializing in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Areas of interest include board governance, leadership and strategic management, fundraising and resource development, social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, volunteer administration, and program evaluation. (2) A tenure-track or tenured faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor with tenure), specializing in Emerging Technologies and Digital Governance. Areas of interest include artificial intelligence use in the public sector, Big Data, emerging technologies, digital transformation and innovation, technology policy, Civic Tech, and the ethical implications of digital government. (3) A tenure-track assistant professor position, specializing in Public Management. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to collaborative governance, emergency management, performance management, policy and program evaluation, health care administration, and local government administration. The ASPA Section On Public Administration Research (SPAR) Invites SPAR Best Book Award Nominations, posted on 9/20/2024

We welcome nominations for books on public administration published in 2024 and 2023. The criterion for the award is a book that significantly contributes to research in public administration. All research methods and books across the wide range of public administration research are welcome. Books primarily written as textbooks will not be considered. We welcome international publications written in English. Only books that contribute to Public Administration research and theory will be considered.
